I think either would be fine – just depends on if they want to start or end at the beach. But I’d probably go to Arenal first just so they would end in Guanacaste, which is closer to the airport.

Would you recommend going to Arenal first and then guancaste.They were thinking Feb 2006 with a budget of 2700 for flights and hotels(all inclusive in guancaste.Then you have to add car and tours or entrance fees.Would very much get your thoughts on itinerary best way to see island with best price for recommend hotels

No special license. Our rental car company picked us up from the airport and took us to their location, which was maybe only a 2 minute drive from the airport.
