In the heart of historic Willemstad and only moments away from popular island attractions, Renaissance Curaçao Resort & Casino is the perfect home base during your stay in Curaçao!
Whether you’re exploring the rich history of Rif Fort or relaxing next to the Caribbean sea, with hundreds of different activities available at your fingertips, you will enjoy every moment at Renaissance Curaçao.
Rooms
With 223 rooms and 14 suites, guests have the chance to book a room perfectly fitting their needs. I had the pleasure of staying in the Ocean View Room with a balcony.
The Ocean View Room has 2 queen beds, pillowtop mattresses topped with soft duvets, a large bathroom with a tub, free wifi, air conditioning, a coffee machine, a mini fridge, and an LCD TV. Renaissance Curaçao even offers complimentary evening turndown service, where they leave 2 pieces of milk chocolate! Yum!!!
However, the best part of my room was the amazing view of the ocean from the spacious balcony. I truly enjoyed watching the colorful sunsets every evening with my bathrobe on and a cocktail in hand.
Property
Built around the historic Rif Fort – a 19th-century landmark designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site – Renaissance Curaçao is a unique resort that offers something for everyone. With a casino, gym, infinity pool, beach, a variety of shops along the open-air boulevard, and many restaurants, the possibilities at Renaissance Curaçao are endless.
The hotel itself is comfy with colorful modern decorations and dutch influences. My favorite part was the amazing oval chandelier in the middle of the lobby! It was a combination of hanging crystal strands and lights. I wish I had a picture to show you, but since I don’t, you’ll just have to go and see it for yourself!
Plus, for all you coffee lovers, there is a Starbucks on the second floor AND another one that is only a 1 minute walk away from the hotel. No matter where you are around the property, you can get your coffee fix.
Nautilus Restaurant and Infinity Beach Bar
Nautilus Restaurant, located on the bottom floor of Renaissance Curaçao, is the perfect place to taste local cuisine. They offer both buffet and a la cart dining indoor or outdoor. My personal favorite was the buffet since I had the opportunity to sample many different dishes, both local and international. Plus, they change the buffet menu every day so you’ll always have something new to try!
Infinity Beach Bar, located on the second floor of Renaissance Curaçao by the infinity pool, offers casual dining and serves the best cocktails! Definitely dine here for an amazing ocean view at sunset and delicious fresh fish.
Infinity Pool and Beach
One of the best features of Renaissance Curaçao is the infinity pool and beach!
The hotel is situated along a section of the island where there is no natural beach. As a solution, the resort created a beach and pool on the second floor deck of the hotel.
This long stretch of white sand and lined palm trees is equipped with lounge chairs and huts. As an added luxury, you can grab some food and cocktails at the Infinity Beach Bar.
The pool itself if quite unique. They actually pump up real salt water into the pool and have sand on the bottom to mimic the ocean! However, if you swim to the edge of the pool, you will find yourself above the natural sea, overlooking choppy waves.
Natural Blends Esthetics
After a full day of wandering the city of Willemstad and snorkeling in the turquoise sea, odds are you’ll be both physically and mentally exhausted. How do you quickly recuperate so your adventures may continue? Massage time.
You can book a massage with Natural Blends Esthetics, a beach spa located on the beach of the Infinity Pool at Renaissance Curaçao.
Natural Blends offers a variety of massages as well as manicures, pedicures, mini facials, and waxing. Their goal is to deliver a memorable experience each and every time you visit and leave you feeling cleansed and nurtured from head to toe.
I highly recommend receiving their Hot Stone Massage. This deep massage uses soothing oils and warm volcanic stones that will melt away any tension and eases muscles stiffness. I actually fell asleep halfway through and woke up feeling more relaxed and calm than ever.
If you’re looking for a colorful stay and fun atmosphere in the heart of Willemstad, you’ll find it at Renaissance Curaçao Resort and Casino!

Seriously made me so dreaming of going there!! The colors give me a PR vibe! If we ever make it out there this definitely will be up on my list of options to stay!
I was sold at ‘queen bed’, but then you mentioned the incredible infinity pool! I love that they use salt water and line the floor with sand! It makes staring out at the ocean so much more exciting. This sounds like such a dream stay… and with the Starbucks! Hehe.

Really enjoyed reading through. You definitely know how to tell a story in an engaging way Angie!
We’ve got Curaçao on our bucket list, so hopefully we’ll be able to explore its beautiful resorts soon!
I love how colourful it is here! Looks very nice and welcoming too.
Wow everything about this place looks and sounds amazing! Love the classic colorful architecture as well, really great write up Angie ?
Love it! It looks so bright and colorful! I’ve wanted to go to Curaçao ever since my mom told me she went there as an au pair/nanny way back in the 70s. She made it sound dreamy and relaxed and that’s the same vibe I get from your pics ?
That’s so cool Jen!!! She describes it perfectly: dreamy and relaxed! I really hope you get to go experience it for yourself someday 🙂
This resort looks absolutely amazing! You’re such an inspiration. I love your pictures. Can’t wait to visit! @thevibrantexplorer
You know, you having lived in the Caribbean for almost a year I never heard of that island! I kinda wish you had written that article when I was still there so I could have gone and visited! The harmony of colors is beautiful and i on the other hand is now furiously filled with Wanderlust hahaha
It definitely is one of the less known islands but it’s definitely one of the best!! You’ll have to go back and visit 🙂
Wow this property is stunning! That spa looks so relaxing! Was it awkward being out in the open on the beach though?
It actually wasn’t. 🙂 While the spa has an open feel, there are curtains which you can asked to be shut if you’d like more privacy.
Super dope looking hotel!!!
